The fourth Embassy Road Show at Örebro Castle was a success! We kicked of the day with coffee and donuts, much appreciated by all the students that came to the Embassy in the morning for a seminar on “Studying and Working in the U.S.” We also welcomed several school classes throughout the day that asked a lot of questions about the U.S and engaged in our activities in the Embassy. The steady stream of visitors continued all day for consular assistance, one-on-one meetings with the Commercial Section, and to attend a seminar “How to Locate U.S. Suppliers”. Many visitors just stopped by to say hello and to find out what we do at the Embassy or to obtain tourism information.

Ambassador Barzun went to Örebro University to attend a lunch with the theme “Commercialization – from Research to Enterprise”. He also had an “Ask the Ambassador” session with students from the University. We ended our busy day with an Open Forum, “Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Logistics” moderated by Public Affairs Counselor Chris Dunnett where we shared good ideas and experiences. A good time was had by all and we thank the Örebro Host Committee for great support!
