Media "I" Visa
All journalists going to the United States to cover an event or a story are required to hold a visa; in most cases this will be a media visa (I Visa). For information on and requirements to obtaining your I Visa, please visit the Consular Section. The Public Affairs Section is unable to answer questions or provide information on any type of visa. Such questions must be directed to the Consular Section, or check the Embassy website for comprehensive information.
The Foreign Press Center
